Backup all your data and reset your phone to factory settings. If that doesnt work, use Nokia Software Updater and install the latest firmware. If none of these actions solve the problem, then Im afraid its time to go to a service center.
I've got MY65T working on an iPhone 3GS. I previously had the problem where it would pair and retrieve phone book, but not transmit or receive voice from my iPhone when making a call.
The last thing I did that fixed it was to remove the bluetooth pairings and "reinstall software on your navman". I don't know if this may remove some of your settings / POI / etc. This was a new purchase so I didn't have anything to lose.
Before doing this I had upgraded the navdesk software to 7.30, and installed the latest firmware for MY65T. Firmware is located at http://www.navmansupport.com.au/Software/My%20Series/MY65T/MY250___352.htm
Details: -remove the phone bluetooth pairing from the Navman from Settings / Bluetooth / My Paired Devices / [your phone] / delete -remove the bluetooth pairing from your phone's settings -connect navman to PC and launch navdesk -click "My Navman" / "Reinstall software on your Navman" -download the install file if prompted -accept the reinstallation prompts and complete reinstallation -set your phone to discoverable over bluetooth (just keep it on the Bluetooth settings screen on iPhone) -go to Settings / Bluetooth /" Search new devices" on your Navman -click your phone's name on the navman's discovered devices -enter the PIN onto your phone when prompted and accept the pairing. This takes a little while. -test handsfree!
Hi the file you received has corrupted the phones firmware it could be the the file you received is not supported by the software on your phone so it is now causing a conflict somewhere in the phones firmware. now the only option you have to solve this is to have the firmware flashed back onto the phone again, to do this you will need to take it to a phone shop and ask them to reflash the latest firmware and that should then solve your problem. now the problem with doing this is that once this has been done your phone will be reset to what it was when new so you will lose all the data on the phone such as numbers, ringtones, pictures etc, etc, if you have the leads to connect it to your computer then do this and save all your details onto the computer, if you cant do this then ask them in the phone shop and they should be able to back it all up for you.
their is no easy fix for this as it does require the firmware being reflashed once this is done your phone should be up and running again.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
Hi, turning on your bluetooth on any nokia bluetooth enabled phone is quite simple, all you have to do is to press the menu button, scroll to settings, then to connectivity, under connectivity you will see list of connections and you choose bluetooth, then you select to put it on or off. Should in case you try this and it does not come up, then your blurtooth is faulty and you have to take it to a mobile phone technician to fix it.
There is a tool you can use to flash your firmware to the language you want. It is called Fighter. If you want it, I can help you to flash it to the firmware of your choice either Chinese, French, German.... I can even upgrade your P900 to P910 version so your external memory can recognize the Memory Stick up to 1GB but instead you cannot use the Bluetooth Function after upgrading. You can use the Jabra a12 Bluetooth Adapter instead to have a new connection with Bluetooth. I has my P900 working this way and it works Great.
This tool can even unlock your phone too to the most latest firmware.
Sony Ericsson Phones have been known for those hanging issues, however, we have issues and we have resolutions. Have you ever upgraded the firmware on this phone? Even if the firmware is the latest one, I would suggest a firmware reflash. Don't forget to backup your data before you go for a upgrade or a reflash.
In order to know the existing firmware on your phone, press this: > * < < * < * where < is left, > is right. Then go to the Software Info under Service Info.
You may go to the official sony ericsson website; select you country; go to support; select the phone; download the Updater Service. And you would be able to find the latest firmware.
