Question about Audiovox VM9512 Car DVD Player
I NEED CODES FOR BRAKE BYPASS TO WATCH MY DVDS WHILE ON THE ROAD
Turn on the player, start the radio option, go into the setup menu, tap the language tab, ON THE REMOTE press "stop, stop, 5,4,3,2,1" This will bring up the secret menu, you do not need to connect the pink wire

1. insert a dvd in park mode and when the dvd starts hit stop use remote stop botton
2. a touch screen sub menu will appear, hit the stop button twice on the touch screen, then use the remote and press 5,4,3,2,1,0. I didn't hear any beebs, but the hiden menu appeared
3. locate the brake bypass and turn on
4. exit the system.
5 restart the dvd and you should be able to play while the vehicle is in drive without the park brake.
caution don't drive and watch movies, this information is to avoid the hassel of trying to use the parking brake. driving and watching movies is dangerous and ilegal.

On a jensen you can not just ground the parking brake wire, you must use a toggle switch or have the remote to enter the bypass code

Try on the remote stop stop 1264 then on the unit the right hand toggle down once and in once then on the remote system button 2 times
