I have a Whirlpool Model SGDS800JQ2 gas dryer (Costco Kirkland Signature) that just all of a sudden wouldn't put any heat out. It rolls the drum and does everything else but just doesn't turn the burner on. I pulled the front of the dryer off, took the belt off, started the dryer and got no power to the thermal ignitor? From the parts list it looks like there are a number of electrical end devices to monitor temperature(thermal cut-off, thermal fuse, and 2 thermostats) Assume one of these might be bad and isn't allowing the burner to turn on? How do you check these? Other thoughts? Help!
Check to make sure the burner ignitor is not burned out. Check all the other parts you mentioned........ pull one wire off each part(one at a time) and check with with with an OHM meter.... should all be in the closed position.
