- Turns on boots on acer page to 75% then goes to windows XP then a blue page with some writing that's so fast I cant' read it then back to Acer page again and so the cycle continues. Tried F2 got nowhere, tried F8 last known good configuration and safe mode but neither helped. Safe mode didn't boot. Any suggestions, if I need to update BIOS how do I do that - was suggested on another site. - yelselseivadJan 05, 2009
- Turn the Pc on booting line goes about 75% across windows XP page comes up a blue page flashes really quickly but too fast to read what's on it and then it starts all over again. Have done F2 no good and F8 and opted for last good configuration and safe mode but it won't open in safe mode so stuffed. Someone suggested upgrading the BIOS but not sure how to go about that. On start up keep pressing F8,
when options come up, select last known good configuration.
if this doesn't work, reboot and do the same thing but select safe mode option. boot all the way into the os.
reboot as normal.
