Connect Sansa to computer
Double-click "My Computer" icon
Double-click Sansa icon (shows up as "Removable Drive" on some computers)
Select Tools --> Folder Options --> View --> check "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
Double-click Music folder
You should see your music files - you can delete at will.

you have to go to memorexelectronics.com and go to support, you need to upload the firmware for this model. Follow the instructions and it will reinstall the firmware onto the mp3. Mine now works fine, it took about 10 min to solve the problem.
go to memorexelectronics.com and then to support. You need to upload the current firmware for model MMP8568. I downloaded the firmware program and followed the instructions, it fixed all the problems I was having with the mp3 player. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully, it may get a little tricky if you are not somewhat computer literate.
