You may have better luck finding another saw, but check into this site, and post your request on their bulletin board. I've had some good luck with them in the past.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Looking for a front and rear locking fence for this table saw also owners manual, any help would be appreciated.THANKS BOB

Please go to this link where you will find a list of available parts and a downloadable instruction manual for your saw.It looks like the fence assembly is still available, but I recommend you review the exploded parts diagram and compare the numbers found there to the parts list to confirm that you have ordered all necessary parts before shipping.

I bought a Craftsman radial arm saw years ago at an auction. No where on the saw can I find a model number. There is a model number for the motor. the number is KS48 DG-214. Can you help?

You might want to have a look at some of the manuals available online at this site. Perhaps there is something there of the same general vintage that will help you to answer your questions. I think there is some kind of stamped plate on the back of the saw, either on the column or the table base itself. I don't really remember, and mine is buried into a cutoff table and inaccessible. Otherwise, you could try looking up the motor model number at the sears online site at www.managemylife.com. Good luck.

I have a pm2000 3hp left tilt saw that i purchased 3 yrs ago but have never used or even set up until today only to find out the tilting mech. doesn't work

I bet the grease has set up and the worm gear is just frozen in place. Have you tried spraying some oil or wd40 or silicone lube into the worm gear, and lubricating the trunnion ways? I can't believe that if you've unlocked the handle lock and pushed the handwheel in the saw won't tilt at all. You can download manuals for that saw from here. See page 14 for more details, or get someone who's mechanically inclined to take a look at it for you. If the saw is new, it has a 5 year warranty.See here for repair or parts info.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Instructions for installing BT3000 saw belts

Please see operating manual available for download here. That includes an exploded parts diagram, which may help you get the new belts on. Otherwise, you might try contacting an authorized Ryobi service center and asking for assistance. I'm afraid I've never worked on one of those saws.

I have a 1587 AVS, changing the blade, I turn the blade into the proper cutting position and turn the nob but the blade will not tighten.

You have to pull up on the knob while you tighten it, without pulling it off the saw. A bit tricky.
Also helps if you gently pull out on the blade a bit as you tighten. See this rant of mine on the same topic, which includes a link to the online manual.
Best of luck.

How does one replace the pin in a sliding compound miter saw? The locking pin on my saw has broken, I have a replacement pin, but I can not figure out how to replace it. Can you help?

I"ve never had to replace one, but here's an exploded parts diagram that shows it has an o-ring on it. I'm guessing its a friction fit and maybe you can just knock it out with a punch or drift, or maybe twist it out with a pair of vise grips...but I don't have the saw in front of me, and can't remember if the back side of the pin is accessible.
Anyway, FWIW, see here.

Table Saw Blade Won't Cut Straight

Inside the saw, on the end of the trunnion is a stop that is adjustable to zero the saw in to exactly 90 degrees. Either there is sawdust or something accumulated there or it needs to be adjusted. You say you cleaned it out, So you'll need to unplug it an have a look up in there. See how there's a geared piece of steel that moves when you crank the saw over to 45 degrees. Usually there's a bolt or stud with a locking nut on it, either on the trunnion itself or the lower surface of the table top. You need to break the nut loose and screw the bolt in or out to adjust, then crank the saw over to hit it, check for square with a known square, crank it all the way out of the way and readjust, etc. Until you get it right. Make sure to tighten that lock nut when you're done.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread. If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!
