The problem is
from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This
flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any
The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The
flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the
flip or slide phone.
I would urge you to replace the flex and I
am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might
also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it
may have loosed contact.
If you cannot change the flex yourself,
maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your
vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.
it sounds like a ribbon fault to me common problem on slide and flip samsung phones i do have a camera for a g600 as i have one with a smashed screen and broke it half in temper cause it was doing my head in,the ribbon ya can get on ebay for under a tenner.
Your firmware is corrupt. Your phone needs to be flashed to the newest firmware. It happens quite often, you are not alone. You have to go to your local samsung service center., or service provider. They should be able to do it right on the spot while you wait. About 20 min or so. If you cant find a samsung service center, or your phone is out of warranty, try finding an independent cellphone shop. They should be able to do it as well, they may charge anywhere from $40 to $60.
