Question about Canon PowerShot A530 Digital Camera
The **** that lets you sellect "auto" video, P, M, etc. isn't responding. When you turn it from P to Auto nothing happens.. then everything becomes "off" by one click (e.g. portrait is Auto) and you can't even get Portrait or Landscape or video to even select most the time.
The only idea I have about it is that it's broken. It sounds like the switch is broken on the inside and only initiates in certain modes because those are the ones you used most frequently and just kind of skipped over them. Instead of switching one at a time, you just turned the knob to the one that you wanted and just had a "prize wheel" noise while turning the knob. I don't have a clue on how to fix it, but I think that's the problem.
