When I look inside my epson stylus C80 inkjet printer there is a pool of ink on black tray, left hand side. On the right side where the ink cartridges are I see black ink spray under lid, on ink cartridges, and all around the cartridges on the wall of the printer. Should I dump the printer or can I fix it?

not too good...that's a cartridge issue, or worse, the carrier is cracked..remove cartridge and inspect, then you'll need a mirror /magnifier and a pen light to see if carrier is cracked.
