Yes you need to replace the bail arm spring on the ice maker with a red one ill bet yours is green the red ones have more tension on them call an appliance repair parts store tell them you need a spring for an im34 make sure its red buying a new ice maker wont neccessarly solve the problem

Normally, if power is not being received by your Frigidaire refrigerator it will not produce ice within the icemaker. Now once power has been restored it could take up to 24 hours to maintain temperature and start producing ice. If the power went out it is possible that the icemaker could have shorted or the water valve could have went out. I hope this information has been insightful. -Matt
