Washing machine is jumping around on the spin cycle

A few possibilities here.
Make sure the washer is level, both back to front, and side to side.
Do not over load, and make sure that there is more than 1 article in it, otherwise you will get an out of balance load.
Make sure the water is drainlng away properly.
Check the drum for excess movement, this would indicate a broken spring or worn drum bearings or worn or broken drum shaft.
Check the concrete wieghts at the top and bottom are not loose or broken.
Check the suspensions for excessive wear.
Hope this helps

It is unlikely to be the springs as they do no not often break.
To check, remove the top cover, and you will see a spring at the front and rear of the drum, sometimes one can come unhooked.
Another possibility is loose or broken concrete balance wieght at bottom of drum, or worn suspensions, or possibly worn drum bearings or broken drum shaft.
The poosibilities are numerous.
Good luck in your search for a solution.

It seems that the drum is spinning off its axis

When a front load washer does not spin properly, the problem can be caused by failed axle that connects the pulley to the wash drum, or failed shock or (possibly) broken suspension springs.
Remove washer top, inspect the two or four springs holding the washer drum up. The whole drum should be able to "bounce" a little, when you press down on it.
Remove the lower front panel and with a flashlight, inspect the two shock absorbers. Both should attach up to the wash drum, but it is common for them to break, especially if the front load washer has been moved from one house to another without re-installing the lower brackets and the long bolts that secure the drum during the move.
If the springs and shocks are not damaged, with the top removed look down into the rear area. You will see a large pulley with a belt on it. If you see brown/black grease marks all over or obvious problem when you try to turn the pulley, you have found the major problem.
Please get back to me with what you find. OK?

Hotpoint aquarius 1100 bangs while spinning

Several possible reasons for this. M/C not level, causing it to move about.
Overloading of m/c.
Loose concrete balance weight, there is one at top and one at bottom.
Suspension spring broken or unhooked.
Suspension leg loose or broken.
Main drum bearings worn, to check this, turn drum by hand and if it feels noisy or rough , then bearings have gone (expensive repair).
There are other possible causes, but these are the main reasons.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hi,my hotpoint wf541 washing machine has become noisy on its spin cycle, any ideas as to what is wrong with it,or can you recomend a repairer for me in Lincoln,uk?

Try spinning the drum by hand ,if it feels or sounds noisy, then the main bearings have gone, if no obvious niose, then it could be m/c not level, overloading,-loose balance weight)(s)-suspension spring broken or unhooked--there are other causes, but these are the usual things to look for.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
