Is pollution and global warming the same thing?

I am not a young person... i believe that weather is caused by more then one variable... be it from the Sun's energy... or from something called Smog... or pollution... or simply... changes just happen, because it's happened before... and we go thru cycles... cycles that are longer in time then your typical lifespan.
I believe people will have an agenda to exploit climate for their own cause.

Elderly people buying unhealthy food may not be a matter of choice... but in reality the result of economics.
I dont know what to tell you about the double bagging... maybe consider getting her a reusable sack for her groceries...
If she refuses, then maybe it's time to ask her directly... if she responds kindly then maybe you have a chance to turn her around...
If she is rude or less then kind, then express that you are concerned.
Hopefully she will appreciate someone that cares for her.

to be confident about something or an outcome means that based on your knowledge of existing circumstances, knowledge of the subject and risks involved you are confident ,the outcome will be as predicted
for example the word immobilise is spelled 2 ways
if you were english you could be confident that it is spelt immobilize with a z but if you are american you would be confident that is is spelt with an s--immobilise

what it should do is make you double check everythting before you say that you are confident about anything

Its cold! is it like polluting excessive? If the exhaust smoke is white its normal especially on a older car. Have you ever gone outside in real cold weather and when you breathe you can see the steam pretty much same thing. As long as the car is running the same then its more likely to be from the cold. Good idea may be to let your car thoroughly warm up before you drive off in cold weather.

Two things... First be sure the fuel caps seal is good, second on some cars a few or more "global cycles" must be completed before returning to normal. A global cycle is going from cold when first starting to warm, then back agian. A trip to the store for example. Lastly if none work, head to your local auto store. Most will clear out the code for free.

I had a problem with "Unblock diesel filter and Anti-pollution fault". After reading a few answers for this I decided to take car into the mountains for a good workout. Usually my trips are short and often therefore the exhaust was not getting hot enough to burn off the diesel residue in the Particle filter. In 40 mins of 3,5000 revs mainly in 3rd gear nothing showed up on the computer. Think this problem is sometimes caused by the engine not getting hot enough for long enough.
