Could be that you've accidentaly set up as a foreign keyboard. the @ key is by the 2 on alot of euro keyboards.

Sorry, got distracted half way, right click taskbar..select toolbars,
and make sure Language bar is selected. Should say EN for english.
    Otherwise control panel... keyboard... troubleshoot.
Alt Gr - 2 is at on those eurokeys
    Good luck

Try to turn the key while moving the steering wheel. Sometimes the problem is in the lock system of the steering wheel.

You wouldn't have some live insect in your keyboard have you? I've seen Microwaves do strange stuff when infested with some tiny insects BUT I doubt it's the case with your machine. I am trying to recall a Keyboard key that I sometimes accidentally press when trying to create a document using Word, etc which does the same or similar to what you've described. It pees me of as I don't know which button I hit, it is one of the main reasons I avoid Word, Outlook, etc. Please let us know if solved, cheers.

1990 Camry ignition will not go under "acc" position.

In a Camry this age it is most likely that the key and lock both are worn. Toyota ignition key barrels are known to wear. Both old Toyotas I have had did this.

Go to an auto locksmith and explain that you want a key cut with a little extra metal on the profile, due to wear, and see if that works.

If not you need a new ignition key barrel (just the centre, not the electrical bits). It can be made to fit the old key, however you might decide not to bother doing that as it isn't much trouble to have 2 keys for the car.

SHIFT KEYS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Please try to deactivate the Fn (function) key. That will help you get rid of your problem. Press Fn key + Numlock key once and try again. You can also try pressing the Fn key once and type letters in any word processor program with the key combination everytime you press the Fn key once. E.g. open the notepad, press Fn once and after that press ) with Shift.

If you have problem, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Keys are not functioning!!!

You may need to install a new keyboard, what you do is try hooking up a external usb keyboard if that works then yeah your going to need a new keyboard. You can get these for $25 bucks from ebay. Now if the external does not work for some strange reason then you might have a further issue that is complex.

Let me know ether way.

Battery dead after a day (repeatedly.....)

Take your truck to your local Auto Zone and aske them to test your alteranter. They will do this at no charge. If you can "jump" it and it starts ok, I bet the alt is bad. Check it out, costs nothing but your time!
