Fan oven door, cooker surround and hob become burining hot when using fan oven

I just had my oven 2 months and still getting used to it. I noticed tonight that after having the fan oven on for 1 1.2 hrs at about 200 degrees, the oven door, the area directly above the door where the contol dials are, and the hob area above this had become burning hot. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be like this, or if I have a problem. Can anyone advise?

I have the same, but my fan is running slow too, and the oven completely turns itself off and then on in around 10 mins ?

Someone told me it was the Oven Fan Control PCB, but I have not replaced this yet. We will see soon. Good luck

Sounds like a problem to me. Check your oven door gasket to make sure it's intact and also that the oven door is closing completely when this overheating occurs. Although some heat will rise, it shouldn't become "burning hot".

Trying to cook prime rib that needs to rest in hot oven for 2 hours. How do I turn off cooling fan

that fan is a cooling fan but not for the food,it's to cool down the electronics in the oven like the clock assy. so it's doing it's job, that's why i tell people not to use the self clean feature on stoves or ovens, the temp. gets up to 1000 degrees and it will sooner or later damage the electronics in the machine,so if you're gonna use it use it after the holidays,i see people use it the day before thanksgiving, the oven stops working and parts have to be ordered or if it's an older oven you can't get parts anymore and they can't cook so that fan is a good thing.happy have to set the oven on a low setting just to keep the oven 200 or 225,also some ovens have a warming draw under the oven door,if you have this make sure you clean it first,i've seen them filled with dust because nobody ever uses i googled this for you

Beko DVC5622X bottom oven wont heat up

This tutorial will show you how to check your Beko element and how to replace your Beko cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
1.Your Beko oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Beko manual.
2.If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
3.When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing. If this helped you why not get me a beer?

My prc 200 is not working maybe its the battery?

These watches are "automatic" which means that the are self winding.

They will run for 1 -2 days before stopping. Shake the watchgently from side to side for a few minutes and it should start again.

(These watches need to be constantly used to keep them working).

Don't have the instructions on how to clean the oven

Not to worry - cleaning your oven is not the all-day chore it used to be.

1.Remove oven racks and soak them in soapy water.

2.Turn on your automatic oven cleaner; this usually entails locking the door and turning the function switch to "clean.

3."Let the oven do its work; it will heat for several hours, charring off baked-on foods.
easy process

1.Remove oven racks and place them in soapy water to soak.

2.Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

3.Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaners.

4.Allow to sit for 10minutes.

5. Wipe the cleaner and dirt away with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently.

6.Dry with a soft cloth.

Please do any of this carefully.

thank you and thanks for using fixya.
