Have the same dryer and same problem. A GE tech came out last week, took the dryer apart, tightened a loose wire, charged me $180 and went on his merry way. Two days later, the dryer is not heating up and therefore is not drying the clothes. Message says - the blower is not getting up to speed. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

My dryer is not heating up. I checked the lint trap after operating it with no success and there appears to be moisture in the lint trap I've checked the lint trap and hoses for blockage but the passageway are all clear. I've checked all connections with no success.

Same Issue as Mirrado, I have some heat but not hot enough to dry items. pulled dryer out and vacuumed all lint out of the back and under the unit. I also get a weird sound lately kind of like the dryer has the "excuse me" #2 squirts? is the gas line clogging??

I'm having the same problem. The blower will randomly stop working, they dryer also makes a sick (dying) type of sound as it goes through the cycles. Last week I unplugged it and then it worked fine for about 6 days but now it's not heating again.
Can you please tell me how to get the manual/solution

If you hear the blower ramp up when you start the dryer and it slowly ramps down or quits all together then you need to replace the blower.

GE Profile Harmony Gas Dryer not heating/drying clothes.

let me ask you this does the ignitor glow orange but no flame when you have no heat?usually on a gas dryer if at first you have heat and then after 10 to 30 minutes no heat it's usually the gas coils located on top of the gas valve, common problem, after the coils cool down they will work again, that dryer is kind of complicated to work on seeing how it does have two motors in it but you should be able to get at the gas coils,if you send the model number i can look it up for you.but it sounds like you have bad gas coils, the only way to tell is run the dryer, when the heat stops working look at the ignitor,if it glows orange and the flame doesn't ignite you have bad gas coils.

Hello, I'm having problems with my dryer. I have a GE Profile Harmony Dryer and its not drying like it should, I have to run the cycle 4 or 5 times for it to get hot and dry the clothes... It also has...

The first thing to do is ensure that the outlet air vent is not clogged with lint, socks, or other obstructions. It may be clogged at a point outside the dryer, so you might have to move the dryer out of the way, then use a flashlight and mirror to look into the vent.

If it is not clogged, then the problem is likely the heating element or heat sensor.

Good luck!

My GE Profile Harmony Dryer is no longer Heating

Does it get hot when you turn it on, and then never gets hot again while its running? On my dryer the solenoid broke, when the dryer was cold it worked and the dryer operated properly because the dryer and solenoid were cold and the solenoid wire was closed, when the dryer was hot enough the solenoid opened and the heat would not restart. the solenoid is a coiled wire which is used to open the gas valve.

Ge profile dryer dpgt750gc1pl

Is your dryer gas or electric? I think based on your model number, it possibly looks like your dryer is gas. Regardless, you need to look at what the service mode troubleshooter tells you. To access it:

1. Press the POWER key to turn the dryer on.
2. Press HELP. The main help screen is displayed.
3. Press and hold MY CYCLES and BACK simultaneously for 3 seconds. Press EXIT to return to the HOME screen.

Let me know what it tells you and I can help you further from there.
