Question about Coby DVD-215 DVD Player
I will play a DVD Movie and there is sound effects, music, but you cannot here the character's voices or their voices are low. My unit has ***** been damaged and is fairly new--I lost confidence in COBY brand DVD players

Let me get this straight..
You want ME to pay YOU $10 for you to help me figure out how to fix this, but if I've figured it out on my own, you want ME to tell YOU how to fix it for FREE so you can sell MY knowledge to someone else for your own gain?
I might be stupid with computers and such but I'm not TOTALLY stupid! You must be though if you thought I'd fall for this. Either that, or you've got a lot of balls.

Return the unit to the store which you purchased it from. You have an internal problem with the scanner (led) You can first try to clean the led this could be your problem. They sell lens cleaning dvd disks. try it, you have nothing to loose. If this does not work, just bring it back.

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.
Unfortunately, if the player will no longer read any commercial dvd that you attempt to play, the unit is defective and needs to be replaced. Hopefully, since it's brand new, you still have the receipt and can return it to the retailer for an exchange or refund. The unit has a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. You would need the receipt in order to receive a warranty exchange.
