Disable all unnecessary programs that are running at startup. Use CCLEANER :http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ To clean the junk from your machine. In TOOLS, STARTUP disable all unnecessary startup programs. In your broswer Disable/ Remove ALL TOOLBARS. In Manage Add-ons. ALSO, Run MALWAREBYTES to remove any malware: http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ . RUNN a FULL SCAN and DELETE ALL RESULTS. Hook a monitor to the video output, if picture is present it means the inverter board is the most likely problem, [located under the screen] the second possibility is the backlight behind the display. Now if both screens show the same symptom it is the video graphics chip.
Change your screen resolution in the Control Panel. Click Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel then look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open the display and change the screen resolution (it might be under the settings tab depending on your operating system).
You can also Right Click on an open area of the Desktop and select Properties to get into the Display.
Try attaching an external monitor to the laptop & see if you could get any display on it. If this is successful, then you might have either a faulty LCD cable or screen inverter board. The
LCD cable transfers data signal from the motherboard & video card
to the LCD screen. It also supplies high voltage DC power to the screen
inverter board. The screen inverter board works as a power supply for
the backlight lamp mounted inside the LCD screen. It converts low
voltage DC power to high voltage AC power needed for the backlight lamp.
