Just bought sony walkman nwz b143 but its not being recognised by computer at the moment so cannot use it. What is recommended?

What I did was drain the battery completely then try again. Worked for me.

i got an i-pod NWZ-B152F of sony.after connecting to P.C it starts charging but P.C does not recognise it.i want to transfer songs from my computer to i-pod.can you please help?

Sony Walkman will accept converted video file and it's format should be MPG-4 or MP4. other format will no be played and be sure you have to put that in your "Video" folder of your Walkman.

1. Go to settings
2. Go to common settings
3. Go to AVLS(Volume Limit)
4. Change it from ON to OFF

you can charge your walkman onto your cable box (if own one) and download music and videos off of youtube. Go into my documents and type in brand name into files and it might recognize it.

hi ive had lots of problems with sony media centre trying it to accept i video! click the link below and look at the second comment,download the software and ajust the setting on the converter.cant belive it worked hope this helps...

Can you remove the batteries for at least a minute or so, and put them back in?

Is there a master reset button?

Did you call the manufacture tech support?

Did you ask the dealer where you bought the unit?

If all the above did not work out, then I would recommend sending the unit back for an exchange or a refund.
