Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
When you turn on the console it says the hard disk database needs to be rebuilt. When you press X to continue (the only option you have). it goes to a download type bar, then switches off and starts back at the hard disk databse message again.
I look all over the net but could't find anything, until i found a site that said they
could show me how to fix any problem with my ps3. At first i was not so
sure about ordering the manual but i did, whats $5 plus i used paypal, but
long story short i fix my ps3, i recomend this site www.gameme.20fr.com
i hope this help you like it help me. PLAYSTATION FAN FOR LIFE! waiting on PS4

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Firstly don't worry, your HDD has become corrupted which is quite common if you don't switch your PS3 off properly.
Its difficult to say whether you'll lose any data or not, but if you rebuild the database your HDD should be fixed. If it gives you an option to rebuild the database then choose it.
If it doesn't then access the recovery menu and choose option 3 as described in the thread below.
Any further questions feel free to ask.
Correct? a nice vote would be awsome
