When your player is connected to your computer. Go to that drive in windows explorer. Open the version.sdk file in NotePad. Then go here:
If it says Version 1... click on hardware version 1 and download the link. If it says Version 2... click on the version 2 link.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

Make sure you have the software that came with it installed.
Use Windows Media Player to transfer files.
Open My Computer Open 'Sansa', If you can view your files; you can drag new ones in.
If that didn't help reply with more info
Good luck, please rate.

Go to sandisk.com. Click on downloads. Select sansa clip from the product list, then your operating system. You can get the updated driver and user manual.
