IF YOU GO TO THE START BUTTON AND RIGHT CLICK , GO TO PROPERTIES AND CHANGE YOU SETTINGS TO CLASSIC YOU WILL SEE IT ON YOUR DESKTOP. I USED CAPS SO YOU COULD READ THE DIRECTIONS BETTER.

When you are in My computer, You will see the disk. Double click it or right click it and look for ......... Setup.exe........

Go to Tools folder options - VIEW - then check the dots or blocks that will enable you to see ALL FILES

My 5250 printer cannot load paper properly. It loads unevenly and displays error messages 3424, 3618, or lately 3520. I tried to upload new firmware, but no new firmware is available.

WONT PLAY ANY CD, KEEPS ASKING TO LOAD DISC EVEN DISC IS IN.

Remove the CD and shut everything off (computer and the printer). Turn it all back on and after it is fully on (turn on the printer too if it needs to) then load the CD. If the CD runs automatically you should be on your way to success.

If the CD does not load automatically,go to Start in the lower left hand corner of the screen and select Computer or My Computer. Then see which symbol is the CD and double click it to open it.

Hopefully you will have it fixed once you get the CD working.

Replaced printer, same laptop with software. Inserted new DVD, but laptop does not give instructions for connecting printer.

It is possible that the auto-run feature has been disabled. Try opening the CD manually. If you have Windows, double-click on Computer (My Computer for older versions). Then double-click on the optical drive under Devices with Removable Media. Find the installer (exe for Windows, dmg for Mac) and double-click to launch it.

If the optical drive doesn't open, then you have a problem with the disc, the drive, the drivers for it or the registry properties for the drive.

If the disc install the Easyshare 5500, download the drivers for supported OS versions from here: http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/list/p/5,62,419/c/890/selected/true . Then double-click on the file to install. (If you plugged in the data cable (USB) to the computer before installing this software, uninstall the generic driver and then disconnect the data cable and reboot before installing the new software.)

Now to go back to the drive problem, if you were able to launch the file from the File Explorer (Windows), you may want to reenable auto-run. In Windows 7, click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Autoplay. Set the line for Software and Games to Install or Run. You may want to check the box to Use AutoPlay on all media. If the optical disc could not be read, try cleaning the disc (if you see scratches) and try cleaning the optical disc lens. (Did you here the disc spin when loaded?) Check the Device Manager for a triangle with a red x or yellow exclamation point next to the optical drive. (Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager) Try to update the driver.

If there was no sound of the drive spinning, you may want to check if the power or data cable have become disconnected inside the laptop (either at the motherboard or the drive). See your laptop's documentation for opening it up or take it to be serviced at a local shop. You may need to replace the drive. An external optical drive can be used to replace the internal one and are fairly cheap. Most connect to one or two USB ports on the computer. The ones that take two USB ports do not need a power brick.

I hope this helps.

Wont load

Well if it just wont load the auto menu, then double click on your my computer icon, then double click on the drive letter, where your cd is to start it or open it. Either it will start now, or you will be able to browse the cd. If you can browse the cd, look for the file that has the same name as your game and start it.

Let me know if this helped and if yes rate me :)

If this did not help, please tell me the name of the game and any error messages that you receive when trying the above :)

Fixing the lexmark 2300 printer

It is a printer, not a program, so it will not show up in programs.

If the disc does not autorun when you insert it, simply click start/my computer then select the drive you inserted the CD into. From there you can start the installation manually (double-click the file the ends ".exe".
