Open the Outer Back(Rear) Cover(1) at the back of the machine. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine.
Close the Inner Back(Rear) Cover (1) if it is open as shown in the illustration.
Close the Outer Back(Rear) Cover. Make sure the cover is closed properly.
Pull the paper trays (1) out of the machine.
Push the two green levers up on both sides.
Pull out the jammed paper (1) and press Stop/Exit.
Push the green duplex unit up.
Reset the machine by lifting the scanner cover from the front of the machine and then closing it. If
you cannot remove the jammed paper from the front of the machine, or
the error message still appears on the LCD after you have removed the
jammed paper, please go to the next step.
Using both hands, use the plastic tabs on both sides of the
machine to lift the Scanner Cover (1) into the open position. Make sure
that there is no jammed paper left in the corners of the machine under
the plastic covers.
If ink gets on your skin or clothing immediately wash it off with soap or detergent.
If the paper is jammed under the print head, unplug the machine
from the power source, and then move the print head to take out the
If the print head has stopped in the right corner as shown in the illustration, you cannot move the print head. Press Stop/Exit until the print head moves to the middle. Then unplug the machine from the power source, and take out the paper.
Gently close the scanner cover using the finger holds on both sides of it as you push down on the Scanner Cover Support (1).
Be careful not to trap your fingers under the scanner cover. Always
use the finger holds provided on both sides of the scanner cover when
opening and closing it.
Push paper tray #1 and paper tray #2 firmly back into the machine.
Make sure you pull out the paper support until it clicks.
PAPER JAM A paper misfeed occurred in the main unit. Open the cover at the indicated location, and then remove the misfed paper. (“When the Message (Flashing alternately) OPEN XXX SIDE COVER All misfed paper was not removed from the main unit. Check the message in the display for the location of the paper misfeed, and then remove the misfed paper. ORIGINAL DOC.JAM A paper misfeed occurred in the Document Feeder. All misfed paper was not removed from the Automatic Document Feeder. Open the Document Feeder Cover and the Document Feeder, and then remove the misfed paper. (Flashing alternately) OPEN DOC.FEED COVER ∗REMOVE PAPER IN BYPASS TRAY∗ Paper is loaded in the Manual Bypass. Remove the paper from the Manual Bypass. FRONT COVER OPEN The Front Cover of the main unit is open or not securely closed. Securely close the Front Cover. (Flashing alternately) CLOSE FRONT COVER DUPLEX COVER OPEN The Duplex Unit Cover is open or not securely closed. Securely close the Duplex Unit Cover. (Flashing alternately) CLOSE DUPLEX COVER DOCUMENT COVER OPEN The Document Feeder is lifted up (while a document is loaded into it). Securely close the Document Feeder. (Flashing alternately) CLOSE DOCUMENT COVER DOC.FEED COVER OPEN The Document Feeder Cover is open. Securely close the Document Feeder Cover. (Flashing alternately) CLOSE DOC.FEED COVER TONER EMPTY The toner is empty. Copying and printing cannot be performed. Replace the toner bottle with a new one. SUPPLY TONER PAPER EMPTY The selected paper tray has run out of paper. indicates the paper tray, and “XXX” indicates the paper size. Load paper of the specified size into the specified paper tray.
Error 6000 gets displayed when there is a paper jam or other general malfunction. When the message "6000 Printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer
then back on again. If the problem persists, see the manual." Is
displayed, something may block the paper feed tray from opening.
If the printer is surrounded with documents or when you copy
large documents such as books, make sure that you secure the clear space
in front of the tray before printing / copying. When the error message
above is displayed and if you find something is in front of the tray,
remove it. Then, turn OFF the printer and back ON again and the printer
will be ready for printing.
If you still have the trouble, contact the repair service. Check the printer for any paper jam or try to reset the printer to release memory code errors.
1. Press and hold the Resume button for 1 - 2 minutes.

Before you can clear a "PAPER JAM" or "PRINTER JAM" error, you must locate where in the unit the paper is jammed.
First, unplug the machine for safety and disconnect the telephone
line. Next, follow these instructions based on where the paper jam is
Paper is jammed inside the paper tray:
Pull the paper tray out of the machine.
Pull out the jammed paper to remove it.
Reload the paper in the paper tray.
Reinstall the paper tray.
Paper is jammed inside the machine:
Remove the jam clear cover on the back of the unit. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine.
Re-insert the jam clear cover.
If you can not pull out the jammed paper, lift the scanner cover
from the right-hand side of the machine until it locks securely into the

Check the print head's position. In the example photo the print head is positioned at the left hand side of the platen area.
Gently move the print head to the center.
Be careful to not force the print head to move. If the print head
is positioned at the far right hand side, you cannot move it. Please

Examine under the print head. If anything is found, remove it.
Use a flashlight if necessary to check thoroughly.
Lift the scanner cover to release the lock. Gently push the scanner cover support down and close the scanner cover.
Reconnect the power cord and telephone line.
To prevent paper jams, do not put multiple kinds of paper in the paper tray at the same time.

appear on the LCD, the machine will require repair. Please contact

COF32 means the ATDC sensor has detected some unusually high or low readings. The ATDC sensor measure the toner lever inside the developer unit. Try swithcing on/off, open/close the front door to clear the code. If this doesn't work, you'll need an engineer to reset the ATDC level.
Thanks for using FixYa. Before you can clear the error message, you must locate where in the unit the paper is jammed.
Unplug the machine for safety. Now follow these instructions based on where the paper jam is located.
1.Pull the paper tray out of the machine.
2.Pull out the jammed paper.
3.Reset the machine by opening the Upper Jam Clear Cover and then closing it.
If you cannot remove the jammed paper from the front of the machine, or the error message still appears on the LCD after you have removed the jammed paper, please go to the next step.
4.Remove the Lower Jam Clear Cover from the back of the machine. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine.
5.Put the Lower Jam Clear Cover back on. Make sure the cover is set properly.
6.Open the Upper Jam Clear Cover. Make sure that there is no jammed paper left in the corners of the machine. Note: If the paper is jammed under the print head, unplug the machine from the power source, then move the print head to take out the paper.
7.Close the Upper Jam Clear Cover.
8.Close the output paper tray cover and slide it forward, then push the paper tray firmly back into the machine. While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support until it clicks and unfold the paper support flap.

Sorry a little late only just read your problem. The location is not the bottom tray feeder but the disk tray. In settings change your media type to "Printable Disk" the paper scource should automatically change to "Disk Tray" and hopefully every thing will work OK.
