Look in your manual that came with your Kensington 7 hub. I look one up & look at the spec's, it says it is "Vista compatable". Are you using "XP"? Is it compatable with "XP"? If it is make sure you have the right driver with it. If all those thing check out ok, then your Kensington 7 hub is defective.

Let me know how it goes.

Upgrades are usually troublesome as they leave bits of the old OS in odd places. It is best to do a clean install.
Choose your OS, either Vista or Win7. XP will not work!
Always download the latest drivers for the OS you are using from or it will keep hanging and be unreliable.
Hope this helps.

Will my programs work on Windows 7?

When considering an upgrade to Windows 7, something that you will need to be concerned with is not only the drivers for your computer and peripherals, but whether that game you bought 2 years ago, or the anti-virus program you bought 2 months ago will work.

Many times the program will not work no matter what you do. It was just not made for Windows 7.

Microsoft does have a Compatibility Center to help aid in determining whether your current programs will work. You can find the site at Windows 7 Compatibilty Center. Of course this site cannot possibly tell you about every program on the market, but it is a big help.

Also, most software companies have support sites and contact information so you can ask the important questions before you upgrade and realize too late that your software is no longer functional.

Happy Upgrading!

I just bought an asus g series computer a month and 2 days ago. i havehad to use the reboot back-up disks 2 twice now and it did it again and now the back-up disks dont work and the system wont restore....

Since you have experienced so many problems with your new computer, and your backup and restore disks don't work, return your computer to the place where you purchased or to Asus, depending on the store policy.

Your operating system (Windows 7 ?) is faulty and should be reinstalled or your hard drive or other hardware component is faulty. Either way, return for a replacement.

Hope this helps.

I used my calculator for years. When I lost my job 3 yrs ago, I stopped using it. How do I calculate a monthly payment for $100,000 at 7% interest rate over 360 months?

if what you are saying is that you have to calculate 7% monthly from 100 $ this means exactly $7 for each month you have to multiply 7 for one month with 360 months and the result will be $2520 for all 360 ...unless it has some penalties to be calculated or something like that ..If the problem that you describe is accurate this is the answer..

Sorry greg but your problem is inside the camera. and unfortunately if you bought it some time ago you probably do not have a warranty so hopefully santa will be nice. If he isn't you could always call hp and see if they can fix it for you and not have it cost an arm and a leg. Sorry for the news.

This happened to me before with my lenovo. In my case buying a new battery fixed the problem. My laptop was about 7 months old. Another possiblity could be that the contacts between your battery and computer are messed up. Or that your motherboard's messed up. I would hedge on the first problem though...

My computer has no sound- L310

If windows XP (i think for vista is pretty similar)check in "control panel" > "sounds and audio devices" - just to check the sound is not muted or turned right down. Check the speakers on another PC, and check your PC with other speakers / headphones to see if it sheds any light on the problem. Update or reinstall the most updated drivers for the soundcard, this may solve the problem, you can get them from this link; Hope this helps :)
