First please check if the wireless connection drivers are installed.
Please click on start -> Run -> type "devmgmt.msc" with out quotes and click on ok.
This will open Device manager.
In the Device manager, click on the (+) sign beside Network adapter and check if you can see the wireless adapter entry.
If you have any yellow exclamatory marks or red cross mark, you have to install the driver for the device.
If you cannot find the device under network adapters, check if you can see any entry that says as Network controller under other devices.
If so installing the driver should resolve the issue.
If you cannot find the entry in both the locations, then the issue would be with the hardware. Contact the Manufacturer for the service options.

Thanks I did search under network adapters and is not there. The network controller has a yellow question mark at it. When I try to update it asks to search from list or disk. I dont have a disk with lenovo as built into system and the one from the list says a warning that might not be compatible and stop computer from working. Im confused! I have tried to dowload from computer website but doesnt seem to be installing.
