Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer
I keep getting a message that I have more than one of the same ink tanks installed. It says I have more than one Cyan tank in the printer when I do not.
Has anyone experienced this?
It is especially annoying because the printer will not allow me to print when I get this message.
I wrote to Canon about this problem. They sent me the advice, first to try taking the cartridge out and replacing it. If that didn't work (I'd already tried it), I should remove the power source from the printer for one minute, then try again. That didn't work either. Their third option was to replace the cartridge with a new one. I'd resisted this option, in case it didn't work, as Canon cartridges are not cheap. It was the last resort before taking the printer for service. I tried it and it worked!
