If your printer is physically punching holes in your paper, your printer gears are probably shot.

I have a canon mp460 printer that i have just re'filled and i am still gettin the 'ink running low' message on screen. how do i resolve this problem?

On the maintanance screen is there a "Ink counter Rest" tab. It must be clicked on as soon as you put the cart back in.

I also got the following from a website out there:

1) Enter SERVICE MODE by pressing sequentially Menu Copy Scan Copy Copy or Menu Copy Copy Copy Scan (on some models)
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Press ‘+’ 8 times till ‘Select [8]’ PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [OK] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Hope that fixes it for Ya...

Having installed a lexmark 1130 printer using xp. I can find an ican for the copy function

check under 'start', 'all programs', look for the LEXMARK group. the copy function should be in that group. otherwise, most lexmark all-in-one printers have a 'copy' button on the printer itself. try that!

Need to get copy of windows vista operating program for my 1200 series printer

hello..maybe the driver routines you have is too old..try windows live update or search for new routines from the manufacturer of your printer...in worst case you must use windows xp or 98 to make it work..i.e. buy a new printer.....worst case...good luck...Ron

My HP Deskjet F4140 was working fine until I got a piece of paper stuck. I removed and now it wont print. States printer off line and can not print a test page. IT will copy however.

Turn it off. Unplug the power cord from the printer & usb wait a minute. Plug USB in & than the power cable & turn it on. Next
Open the Printers folder.
Right-click the icon of the printer in use, and then click Open .
Click Printer on the menu, and then ensure that there are no checkmarks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline . If a checkmark is present on either, click the menu option to remove it. If the menu shows Use Printer Online , click that option.

We need to print from wireless laptop .help please

Hi,

I am assuming that:
1. There is installed a shared printer in one of the other computers in your network; or
2. The shared printer is connected to a Wireless USB Printer Server;
3. The laptop can connect to the network and is authorized to access/use shared resources.

Procedure would be identical to installing a printer. Follow on screen instructions. Click on Start, Printers & Faxes, Add a Printer, Next, tick "A network printer....", tick "Browse for a printer", Next, Select printer choice, Next, OK, make default, print test page. It might take a bit of time while drivers are copied from the printer server to your laptop. In some printer that is directly connected to the network, you need to pop in the CD that came with that printer and install. Thereafter, you need to change the port setting in the Printer Properties to TCP/IP and point to the assigned IP address of the printer.

Hope this be of some help/idea. pls post gain how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
