Just got the safety first baby viedo monitor black and white. the screen had a picture. i unplugged it to take to a different room, plugged it back in and now i can not get a picture. i have checked all adjustments and still have no picture...just all static. what do i do?

If you disconnect all the cables except the power cable, is the screen still white? White is unusual as it is the presence of all colors. Thus the white is probably coming from the video source.
If possible connect to a different video source.
The light on the camera unit not being illuminated indicate this is where the problem lies.
Ensure that the camera unit is plugged in and press the power button on the camera unit. If the camera unit does not switch on this is what has failed and you require a replacement - please contact your retailer. If the camera unit switches on and the parent unit is unable to establish a connection follow the instructions in the user manual to add a camera.
I had the same problem.
It turned out the batteries needed to be charged. I left the receivers plugged in for a couple of hours. I don't know if it matters but I had them turned off. They both work now.
I know you said the your monitors were charged so I don't know if this helps or not.
If the monitor is fitted with moister sensors it will as a safety measure not turn on, this can be due to damp in the room etc.
Second and more probable is the fuse has blown on the circuit board to the monitor. you will unplug power lead open back up and look for a smaller than plug size fuse which is chrome ended and clear glassed. About 3/4 inch long and 1/8th dia.
Ensure these are replaced with a similar graded fuse. Maplins is a safe bet to obtain them. best to take old one in with you.
hello, I was wondering if you could please help me. My baby monitor is working find, but ater about 5 minuter, the screen goes black although I could still hear the sound.
