I am unable to make a call out on either my Linksys CIT310 handset. When I call into my computer I can hear it ring and can answer it from the computer, but cannot answer it from my handset. The handset worked the other day just great, when I called my sister. But it’s not working tonight. The USB port and power cord are both plugged in properly. The little icon in the task bar says the USB base is connected. The messenger icon is not lit up on the phone, either.
When I put my zip code in for the weather, on the handset, it said "Network Error!"

-   I have same problem. Get network error. Cannot talk thru or listen on the linksys phone. I agree with the other comments. This is a crappy phone.-   Guest
ok , verify if you are loging in invisible mode, it can be that you are doing that , that's why you are getting the X next to the antenna.
Also plug and unplug your usb, device, may be resseting USB connection may help, also if ou have win xp service pack you may need to upgrade, since USB driver are upgrader on service pack 2

The calls forward and ring correctly, but when I answer it the caller hears me but I do not hear them. When I have used the phone out service with the phone, it works fine both ways.
