Question about Mitsubishi Televison & Video

1 Answer

MY WD-52327 has a small area (approx 1"-1") toward the top right hand corner of the screen that appears to be cloudy. It's gray and really only appears against lighter pictures. Any thoughts?

I had the same issue with mine in different areas of the screen. Really got to me one night while trying to watch a movie. I ended up taking the screen off the front and found numerous dust bunnies on the mirrors and a spider web in one of the corners. Cleaned up and blew out with canned air. Was crystal clear again with no spots.

Hi, I have an Hitachi 42PD9700 plasma TV. When the TV is off you can see a mottled/patchy area on the top right hand side of the screen (this is still visible when the TV is on if you look closely). This...

Same problem. Gray clouds INSIDE the external (plexi)glass of the screen.
I guess either:
1 - Screen collection dust or some electrostatic phenomenon.
or
2 - Some coating peeling off.

1 may be solved by dismounting and cleaning.

Any solution you know about ?

Loaded mozilla and screen did not appear fully.

Right click on the bar along the bottem of the screen, and a menu should pop up, near the top of menu click cascade windows, the mozilla window should go to the top left corner of your screen. with the mouse cursor go to the bottom right hand corner of the window and an arrow should appear keep the right click button held down and drag the window diagnally towards the bottom cornner of the screen and you should then have full screen window.

Shadows on screen

Try moving a medium powered magnet (not one for picking up heavy objects and not a refrigerator holding one) over the distorted area. If that doesn't work, try a more powerful one. This worked for my Toshiba LCD. Good luck!
