Question about HP mx705 17" CRT Monitor
I do monitor repairs, on some other models, i change the 7805 5volts regulator that feeds the microprocessor chips, and the problem of osd displaying is fixed, but on this particular HP mx705 crt monitors, it has no 7805 regulator, but a transistor that is regulated by a zener diode.. will try to replace it and its corresponding filter capacitors..if the problems is fixed..i will post the results..

Facing same issue in HP M704 from 12th Mar 08. It was working good for more than one year. Planning to contact customer support for service.
