It's the battery, which is nearly dead: see the other thread with almost 40 entries. According to that thread there are three working solutions:
(1) Take the battery out;
(2) Change the power-saving settings to laptop;
(3) Change one of the properties of the battery/power driver.

All 3 work, and all eliminate the root-cause conflict: it's a high-priority loop, triggered by low battery voltage, which trying to deal with the situation doesn't leave room for other drivers to do their job.

E2 error on a Samsung washing machine

The E2 error indicates a stuck or shorted key on the touch pad or a wiring problem between the touch pad and the main control board. Sometimes this can be cleared by unplugging the washer for 2-5 minutes. (Note: this is usually a temporary fix.) Next run your fingers across the keys. If you find one is lower than the others, that's the stuck key. Try to get it to move; sometimes just pressing it again will work.

You should check the wiring between the control board and the touch pad for any loose connections and for any corrosion or damaged insulation. Replace damaged wiring; reconnect loose wires. (To access this, unplug the washer and remove either the top or access panel at the back of the washer.)

If these don't help, you'll need to replace the touch pad or the control assembly (touch pad and control board). If you add a comment with the washer model, I may be able to supply the parts information for the unit. If your washer is under warranty, contact Samsung.

I hope this helps.

I have a Kenmore Double Oven that's eiving a Code 7 and beeping

Hello,this code is the result of a failed function key on the key pad, or control board. Some control boards will have the touch pad, or key pad combined with the actual control board, as one whole unit. If this is the case, simply have the main control board replaced. Now, if the touch/key pad is separate from the main control board, this will require you to gain access to the control board and key pad, and preform this test below to isolate the failed component.

1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.

2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

Thanks

My touch pad will not work thus rendering the oven useless. It will not respond to touch. Is there anything I can do sans a new processor pad?

HI. Unfortunately, the touch/key pad is not repairable. Once the circuitry is damaged, the entire board must be replaced. Most units will have an Incorporated control board, that will have the touch/key pad integrated into the main board assembly. If this is the case, simply replace the entire oven control board. If the touch pad is separate from the main control board, replace the touch pad board.

NOTE_ This may be a simple control fault. In this case, simply unplug the unit, or shut down the appropriate circuit breaker for five minutes. This will reset the control. If the issue's persist, replace the failed component.
