I do not understand why my usb wireless connection gets cut after some minutes. When I start my notebook everything (internet connection) is fine for some minutes, but after a short while it gets suddenly disconnected. Then I have to "repair" it (right mouse click on the little pc icon), then it works for about 30 seconds again, then it gets automatically disconnected once again. Over and over.
I don't think this is quite logical, isn't it?
Also: does anyone know how to boost the capacity of my usb wireless stick? I barely can reach the networks I need. Maybe this is part of the above mentioned issue.

blue soleil is really poorly written but it matters what you are connecting to. some other usb devices may have older blu tooth version hence why your not getting the full speed. sorry for the bad news hope that doesnt effect the fact that i solved your problem .. kinda lol
As I understand it you get Unkown device notice when you plug the router in to your PC via USB.
With routers/modems/access points that have USB connection the PC do not pick up the USB like other devices. You will have to install the drivers for the USB which will be on the CD that came with the Linksys.
You can go to the following link to get more details on the drivers: Linksys(Cisco) Support
will it may be that easy so you just have to restart installtion of your modem with a restart frist of your computer
if you use xp it problem if the modem is for vista and if you use vista just remove the driver and renstall it agian i hope that help's u
SSID is the name of the internet connection (ex. randomD9), WEP Key is the password if any for the connection (ex. 123456). Just to tell you, Mobile internet isn't supported by the PS3 so you would have no luck with this. Maybe in the future when the firmware updates but for now the best thing to do is to get a wired connectio or a wireless.
Dear hedonista , Its the problem related to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and some times it happpening when your USB Adaptor handshakes with Router , its not a serious problem but you guys have to improve the Wifi routers signals.
