call waiting should always be active, when you hear the call waiting beeps you need to hit the flash button to roll over to the other call and vice-versa to return to the call. On a land line you can deactivate call waiting when placeing a call but it should automaticly reset after the call is finished..
If you have call waiting activated by your cell phone company [ you many times have to call them ans tell them to activate it]. Once you have the call waiting activated: there are several ways to activate call waiting. 1- You're in a call and hear the 'call waiting beep' - Simply push the TALK button or the button used for TALK on that particular phone.
If you make a call and want to put some one on hold for any reason simply hit TALK after they answer the phone.
Cordless phones can not 'forward' a call to an outside line.
Forwarding must be controlled by the ATT, Verizon, or landline provider. Please contact your provider to determine if you have call forwarding feature built into your service package.
Then, follow the instructions of your landline phone provider. Here is the instructions for Verizon:
Activating Call Forwarding You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.
Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.
Press . In some areas you must use Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.
When you hear the tone, set or change the Call Forwarding number by dialing the telephone number where you want your calls transferred. You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.
If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes. You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

Unfortunately, we cannot use that feature especially as I know with Nokia N70 phone. You can only use bluetooth devices head sets or other supported devices via bluetooth. However, you may use your mobile as a modem and access thru GPRS and you may browse directly from your pc, just connect your phone with USB cable to your pc.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here. Is it the busy tone you want? You can deactivate your call waiting, or if you totally do not want to receive calls, you can block incoming calls through call barring if your provider supports it (menu>settings>security>call barring>activate all) or you can deceive everybody by having a ringback tone and voicemail message that sounds like a busy tone. Or perhaps you could get a phone that has that feature built in (try checking with sonyericsson because they had a phone before that could block incoming calls to specific numbers).
