I have a phillips Powervision TV set bearing Model No 21GX 1563 94R. While making it on, I find that the bottom portion gets fold due to vertical nonlinearity. After 3 to 5 minutes, it automatically gets corrected and clear picture is coming .The sound is also normal. I am not able to repair as I have no schemetic diagram . Please suggest me the remedy. My email ID is email@example.com.

First you need to get your remote working, without it you cannot unlock
the tv. If the romote is not phisically broken (or smashed) make
sure the battery contacts are clean and install new batteries.
Once you get the remote working (hopefully) Enter the MENU and select
'Features'. Set the Child Lock to OFF. If you cannot get the remote to
work try a universal remote, setting it up with the codes for your tv
provided in the setup manual for the universal remote.
Mine does this too, just bought it yesterday and noticed the sound this morning, I guess because the house was quiet, now it's the most annoying noise ever. I have been searching for solutions all day, one forum said to go to the picture settings and turn the light sensor to "OFF"...Haven't gotten home to try it yet, but I hope this helps BOTH of us!
Im sorry I do not have a schematic on this set, now the RCA I do that is under the heading. If you get a schematic from http://www.servicemanuals.net and send me a copy I will be more then happy to assist you with this repair.
