Ok try on the following link and navigate to 'Drivers & Download'
www.packardbell.com

Make a search for your 'Service Tag No', it will list you all the drivers required for your machine. And you can easily make download.

Thanks

MY INTERGRATED WEBCAM WILL NOT COME ON.HAVE TRIED EVERTHING AND IT STILL WONT COME ON HELP

Hi, I would like to help you out.
I just want to confirm few things. Was this webcam working fine before? If so please check if the webcam driver is installed properly.

How to check the webcam driver?
*Please click on "start" > run > please type "devmgmt.msc"> click "ok"
*The device manager(this where we can see all the drivers of the hardware components) window will open and please look out for imaging devices.
*Kindly check if webcam driver is installed completely or even if it has an exclamation mark or X mark or question mark.

If your webcam was working fine few days back, Try doing a system restore to that day when it was working fine.

Please check this and let me know. I'll be glad to help:) Thank you.

I have a Dell 530 S Dell Inspiron. Its Webcam has stopped working. Any solutions

The very first step is of course to check your web cam connection. Most web cams use the USB port to connect to the PC, so check if your USB cable is properly plugged. For build-in web cams this steps does of course not apply. Many new laptops have a build-in web cam. Also try connecting your web cam directly to your PC instead of through a USB hub (if you are using one).

The next thing is to do is to check your Windows Device Manager and see if the hardware is recognized and installed properly.

It might be that the hardware is recognized as a camera, but the right drivers are not installed. The yellow explanation mark will indicate a problem.
Other devices in Windows XP device manager

If the device is not recognized in Windows XP, Right-click the device, and in the pop up menu select Update Driver Software. Then follow the instructions on screen, but make sure you allow Windows to search the web for updated drivers.

In case no driver for the web cam can be found, you can try a third party driver finding program that scans your PC for installed hardware and allows you to install missing drivers.

If this fails, the next step would be to un install the software that came with your web cam. Use the Add or Remove Programs feature in the Control Panel. If that does not work you can use a third party un installer.

After un installing the software, restart your PC and then reinstall the web cam software. In most cases this will solve the problems. Depending on the software, you might need to unplug your web cam during the software installation. If your problem is not fixed then you have to buy a new one.

Hope the above information will be helpful to you.
Thanks.

How to insatall a web cam in to the pc

If you have already plugged the USB device into the system before loading the driver, Windows will install a driver for you call “unknown device”. The steps to fix this are to plug the USB device into the computer, then click <Start> <Control Panel> then go into <system>. In there you will need to find the device manager under the hardware tab. When you are in the device manager, you will see a list of all of the hardware install in the computer. Most of them will have the + in front of them showing all is good. There should be one that stands out and most likely, this will be your USB device. At this point you will want to right click the USB device and click remove. Unplug the USB device from you system and reinstall the software. If the software is already install in the system you may be able to just plug the USB device back into the system and it will find the driver.

If it is XP, you should just click on the Camera icon in Control Panel. If Vista you have to install an application. Try MSN Messenger and connect to a friend with video link or google picasa.

Web cam

Hi,
I think ur laptop webcam driver not installed properly. If ur laptop have windows vista operating system then do these steps.
Goto Start - Programs - Recovery Manager - Recovery Manager. In that recovery manager, click on next. Its shows the Software reinstallation page.Click on next button two times. Its shows the software lists.Select the webcam software and click on next button. After reinstallation completed , u restart laptop and check it.
If ur laptop have windows XP operating system then u uninstall the webcam software through Add/Remove program and restart it.After restarting ,Reinstall the web cam software and check it. If u doesnt have webcam drivers then u go for nearest service centre and install it.
