This is usually a hardware problem, Video card, power supply, memory sticks or mother
board. To nail down the problem, try the following workarrounds:
1. Does this computer work well before? If yes, what new hardware did you install recently? Remove it and try.
2. Insert one ram module, and turn on the
computer, if the computer POSTs or you hear beeps, try to add one memory
stick each time until you add all your memory sticks.
3. Clear your CMOS by removing the battery or short the jumper.
4.
Swap your hardware from the motherboard, for example, reseating your ram sticks, move video card from PCI slot 1 to PCI slot 2, etc.
5. Reseat your processor, check the CPU for damage.
6. Verify that you have all the power connectors connected properly.
7. Make sure the power supply is working, even test it on another pc.
Remember
to restart your computer after you try any of the above steps. If all
the above does not work, it is very possible that your motherboard is
bad.
