I think this solution will work when you have a card reader not any other device like camera , mobile etc . They have their own software to transfer pictures .

Your memory card should show up as a hard drive through windows explorer. You can select all of your pictures & copy them to the memory card.
Once you copy them back to your card, check that they are there.

It's the same as if you copied files from one folder to another.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I need help because I don't know how to move my pictures from my camera onto my SDHC card

Hi,
Don't worry. You need a computer to do this and make sure you have camera driver installed on computer. If everything is ok, now remove your memory card then paired your camera with computer. download your pictures to computer. Then install your memory card in camera, copy your pictures from computer to your memory card. Otherwise just use a card reader to transfer the pictures.

When downloading action videos to the computer, only audio and no picture. Blank screen on download, but you can hear the audio portion. Exchanged first camera thinking it was the camera. Still same...

We have inserted sd-ms card onto our laptop to upload the photos onto FB.however the card when inserted back onto the camera, about 50 over images show, incompatible jpeg?how do we solve this issue?

The computer uses a small program to be able to upload pictures from the memory card once the pictures are safely on the computer hard drive hopefully you created a file folder for them then the memory card needs to be formatted in the camera. Formatting the memory card cleans the card and makes it compatible to the camera again. Every time you download images to the computer the memory needs formatting in the camera. Any new memory card needs formatting in the camera a card that has been formatted in the computer needs to be reformatted in the camera. Also please be aware that there is a protection lock on the side of the SD card and if placed in the incorrect orientation will actually lock the card from formatting or deleting files on the card. I'm going to include a diagram here to show you where this little switch need to be for the "unlock" position.

Switch needs to be towards the top of the card in the direction of the gold contacts

How to download pictures onto new memory card from pc?

just stick the memory card into the slot in your computer. if there is not a slot for your memory card then you will need to get an adapter.

go to my computer and you should be able to find the drive in there. usually going to be F:/ or G:/ and then whatever the brand name is on the memory card.
now you should be able to drag and drop the pictures right on to the memory card.

How do I transfer pictures onto the memory card?

You should be able to download the pictures if they are on the camera or memory card to your pc, just browse the folder in windows for the camera name and and the pics will be in that folder, because it is just another form of a media device.
