Cleaned it out thoroughly. Still jamming with no evidence of any paper stuck anywhere.

When i go to print something, it just clicks and buzzes and feeds though a piece of paper, doesn't print anything and then says, "Open door, clear cartridge jam" but there is no cartridge jam.

I dont see a resolution to this problem

Turn on the power. It says "self check" then "initializing" then "carriage jam open door, remove jam, and press enter." (Or very similar words.)

I'm pretty sure the "door" is on the top-left, near the back, since I I have that open and press enter, it won't do anything until after it is closed, but there is no jam, and I can't get any farther.

Error message= open door clear carriage jam and

I think the message is instructions, as in
(1) open door (2) clear carriage jam (3) press enter
So there is something internal to the printer that makes it think it has a carriage jam, piece of paper under a sensor, dirty or stuck sensor.
If you can't find it using a bright light, try canned air.

yes, that is a carriage jam and not paper, the grinding is from the clean station that gets blocked with dried ink and cant move. you need to open the printer and clean the ink off of the clean station so it can clean properly and not cause a carriage jam.

Carriage Jam

Make sure you can move the print cartridge holder freely and that it isn't being blocked by anything inside the printer, also check if the cleaning station is in the right position, maybe it is locking the cartridges.
