Ok..here's what you do..

you'll need to uninstall that box, and then start from scratch...it's not unheard of to have a corrupted set of drivers(not from the CD). get em from the website first, before uninstall.

then, start fresh..

had any power glitches lately?

And try to connect through the Windows utility.

Don't forget to start the wireless zero configuration from services.msc

To get in to services.msc in xp
Click on run and type services.msc
Then search for the wireless zero configuration .
Start the service.
Make sure if there is any other utility is there on the computer then disable that.

I have a acer 6930 that keeps losing wireless connection when everything else in the house is still working

Configure Windows to manage your wireless network by right-clicking the wireless network icon and select view avalable networks... then click change advance settings... then click the wireless tab... If you don't see a wireless tab, then close it and click start then run and type service.msc and press ok. doublde-click the wireless zero configuration and set it to automatic then click start to start the service. then do the first few instructions until you see the wireless tab. Bullet-mark the "Let windows manage wireless network" then click apply or ok.

Try to reconnect to your wireless network and you should be able to maintain your connections wirelessly.

Wireless doens't work on my 7535 - it connects to the router, but not to the internet - internet does work on the main computer

You have to do a few steps to check the problem : 1.Check if the wireless switch is on, on your laptop.
2. If it is on then check if the network adaptors are installed or not. You can check that by going into device manager ( start - run - devmgmt.msc). If it is not installed you will find a exclamation mark or simply go to your manufacturers website and update your wireless driver.
3.Then go to Start\Connect To\Show All Network Connections (or, if this doesn't show up on your computer, Start\Control Panel\Network And Internet Connections\Network Connections). For your wireless card, remove it from the bridge (right click on the wireless network and enable it if it is disabled and then if you have a option remove it from bridge click on that.)
4.Restart your wireless zero configration. Go to control panel/Administrative tools/Services, right-clicking on the "Wireless Zero Configuration", and telling it to stop. After it stops, right-click on it again, and tell it to start, and then wait a minute or so and see what happens.
then try to connect and see if you can for this go to the network and sharing center search for all the wireless networks and try to connect. I think this should do it for you. If not reply with the message or error you get.

Will not connect to wireless network Dell inspiron 1525 wii not connect to my wireless network says connecting status unknown the dependency service or group failed to start

Hi there. Try these simple steps:

Click Start, then click Run if you're using XP and type services.msc then click OK. If you're running on vista, Type services.msc on Start Search field then click the icon on top that says Services.

Double click Wireless zero configuration on XP and WLAN on Vista. click dependencies and see the services where it is dependent on.

Inside the services window, click the name where your wireless is dependent upon and click start. Check for other dependencies and start reconnecting to your wireless network.

Unable to use the wireless setup wizard - I am trying to connect my pc with my wireless printer. When I try to use the setup wizard on the pc it says depending on the wireless software installed on this pc...

The Wireless Network Setup Wizard and the View Available Wireless Networks feature both rely on the Wireless Zero Configuration service to provide their functionality to Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Microsoft Windows XP Table PC Edition 2005. If the Wireless Zero Configuration service is not available, you receive an error message that directs you to this article. This behavior occurs for several reasons. Some computer and hardware manufacturers provide their own configuration software that replaces the Wireless Zero Configuration service that is provided in Windows. In that case, you must use the software that is provided by the manufacturer to configure your wireless network. If you want to use the Wireless Network Setup Wizard or the View Available Wireless Networks feature to configure your wireless device, see the documentation that came with your computer or with your wireless network card. Use this documentation to determine whether you can use the Wireless Zero Configuration service to configure your wireless network. Sometimes, you cannot use the Windows functionality.
If your computer or your wireless network adapter did not come with its own wireless network software, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type ncpa.cpl, and then click OK.
  2. Click Network Connections.
  3. In Network Connections, click to select your wireless connection, and then clickChange settings of this connection.
  4. On the Wireless Networks tab, click to select the Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings check box.

To start the Wireless Zero Configuration service, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type %SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s, and then click OK.
  2. Double-click Wireless Zero Configuration.
  3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.
  4. In the Service status area, click Start, and then click OK.

If you receive an error message when you try to start the service, see the "References" section for more troubleshooting information. For more information, click the following article numbers to view the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 815485 Overview of the Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security update in Windows XP 313242 How to troubleshoot wireless network connections in Windows XP

I keep tuning on my wireless internet on my dell lattitude d600 and my wireless internet wont come on it doesnt show anything wen i press fn and f2

check the error message when you try to search for your network. If it says it cannot find network in range and wireless zero configuration utility is turned off than click on start go to run and type : services.msc, click ok, on right hand side scroll the window to the bottom and you'll see wireless zero configuration >> double click on it >> change the start up type to automatic and click apply then change service to started and click on ok.

Afterwards check if you see your network name or else

click on start >> go to control panel >> double click on network and internet connections >> right click on wireless network connection >> click on properties and go to wireless tab >> check the box at the top that says use windows utility >> click on ok and than right click on wireless network connection and click view available wireless networks. It will show you your network name. click and connect to your network

try it!

Trying to install wireless network. Wireless

if you're using windows XP then you need to start the Wireless Zero Configuration. just click on the start button and choose run then type in services.msc in the run box and click on ok. in the services window just look for Wireless Zero Configuration, it's at the bottom part of the list. just double click it and under the General tab you'll see a box for the Start up type, just set it to Automatic and then on the Service status click Start and then Ok button. once you finish this, you will be able to see the Wireless network tab to be able to select the "use windows to configure my network". in case you're using vista, that option is actually not available as it automatically starts the windows wireless manager and only conflicts if there is a third party software/ wireless manager installed in your computer.

hope this helps...
