My laptop wont connect through wireless

Hi,

When you want to connect to a wireless network, especially a public one your anti virus's firewall may prevent you from connecting. Please make sure you disable the firewall feature of your anti virus while trying to connect to a public network or when accessing a computer through a public network

Goodluck!

I recently downloaded avg anti virus and made myself a new profil on my computer after having been attacked by malware and trojan viruses. now i'm unable to get my yahoo messenger working. i cant even...

Sometimes proxy setting or a firewall or even the anti-virus can stop Yahoo Messenger from downloading. If you've turned off the firewall, you may want to have a look into your proxy settings or anti-virus.

Alternatively, you can download the application from a different website like Softpedia. Yahoo will only give you an installer which will download the application and cause one of the above problems. Here's a link to Yahoo Messenger 10. Even after installation, you might have to grant access to Yahoo from anti-virus, otherwise it may not connect. Usually when it's trying to connect a pop-up from AVG will ask if you want to let Yahoo Messenger to access Internet and you have to allow this.

LAN problem possibly due to virus.

Hi,
I work over a 2 years in internet cafe. I was system administrator! The best way is to create clone's backup. I assume that machine is the same. Do fresh installation on one computer, when you finished create ghost of that computer and use it for further. And another thing, on your server go in manage device and setup permission and protocol for each machine. And be ware that your machine will always have some virus. It's impossible to protect 100%.
Regards and good luck

sounds like a virus or a piece of spyware has gotten on your computer, AVG doesnt pick up alot of the viruses and spyware, i would suggest changing your virus checker and doing a scan with it. if you need more information on how to do it checkout www.onlinepcstudy.com its still under construction and new tutorials are added daily, but you will find a lesson on virus removal..

get AVG off your computer, and try again..that comodo firewall is quite enough, and you can then use Norton Internet Security in association with Comodo.
