Hi. You may be having a problem with the quality of connection. Check telephone cable for any physical defects. Try to plug printer in a different phone jack in the wall. Try to call your phone company to have the line checked, maybe they can do something to increase the quality of signal. Make sure that you already registered the user information like your fax name and your fax number in the fax by going to Fax mode > press Menu > Fax setup > Dialling and Sending > Your Fax Name or Your Fax Number. You can also decrease the transmission speed of your fax by going to Fax mode > press Menu > Fax setup > Dialling and Sending > Max Send Speed > change the speed to 9600 bps > hit check to save settings.
