ERROR CODES; FAULTS & REMEDY
ERROR DISPLAY [IE] Inlet error. Condition: Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply. Possible causes:
The Water Tap is not opened.
The Inlet Hose is twisted.
The Filter of inlet valve clogged by impure water.
The Inlet Water Valve is normal ?
The water pressure is very low. ( below 0.5 kgf/ )
Inlet valve is blocked by safety device for leakage sensing.(In case of Inlet Valve).
Open the Water Tap.
Repair the Inlet Hose.
1.Close the Water Tap. 2.Unscrew the Inlet Hose (Inlet Valve side) 3.Clean the Filter of Inlet Valve. > Replace or repair the Inlet Valve. > Check the water remain on the base. 1.Check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts. 2.Disconnect the inlet hose to dishwasher to unlock the safety valve. ERROR DISPLAY [OE] Drain error. Condition: Not fully drained out in spite of 5 min. drain operation. Possible causes:
The Filter clogged.
The Drain Hose twistec or blocked.
The Drain Pump/Motor or circuit is troubled.
Clean the Filter.
Remove the cause of twist or block.
Replace the Drain Pump/Motor or repair the Circuit.
ERROR DISPLAY [E I ] Leakage error. Condition: The water level in Tub goes down during operation. Possible causes:
Water leakage in Hose connections.
Water is leaked by damages.
Impeller of the washing Pump is worn away.
The Thermal Protector of the washing motor is functioned
Replace the connections of Hose.
Check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts.
Replace the washing pump.
Check the applied voltage.
ERROR DISPLAY [ F E ] Excess error. Condition: Excessive water is supplied than normal water level.(Automatically drain Pump operated.). Possible causes:
1E Water inlet problem > Condition : Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 minute water supply. Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound. Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve. Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.
OE Drain error > Condition: The drain hose kinked or blocked. Wiring connections. The drain outlet of sump is blocked. The drain pump/motor or circuit is troubled : Remove kink. Check wiring. Measure the resistance of drain motor (20-40ohms) Replace the drain motor or repair the circuit.
E1 Leakage error > Conditon: Excessive RPM of washing motor happened during wash cycle due to water leakage. Possible cause: Water leakage in hose connections,water is leaked by damages. The motor water seal leakage of sump assembly. The height of drain hose connection ( sink drain hose ) is not over 20". Impeller of the washing pump is worn away.Replace the connections of hose. Check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts. Correct drain connections. Replace the impeller of the washing pump.
FE Excess Error > Condition : Excessive water is supplied than normal water level (automatically drain pump operated. Possible cause: The inlet valve is troubled,or the controller.Possible cause: The inlet valve is troubled,or the controller. Replace valve or the controller.
BE (Thermal error) > Condition: the resistance of the thermistor not normally out put. Possible cause the inlet water temperature is very high(over 194°F) Wiring connections. Thermistor problem.Check temps to dishwasher 120°F needed. Check thermistor 11-14kohms at 77°F. Replace the PCB.
LE( Motor error ) > Condition : The motor is working abnormally. Possible cause : Wiring connections. The impeller of washing pump is locked. The rotor of washing motor is locked. The blade is locked.Correct wiring connections. Replace the cause of resrtiction. Replace the washing motor. Replace the PCB.
There is a slight leak somewhere or the machine keeps overfilling causing the drain pan to activate via the flood switch.
remove all dish trays from washer, unscrew and remove lid off salt softener, almost and thoroughly remove as much excess water as you can, it could be the vacuum switch/water level float.. do the tip over again, and be sure you get it all,
replace all trays and softner lid and machine should work again.
There is a tank with an overflow sensor on the right side of the dishwasher. The tank needs to be drained of water to reset the sensor. If necessary remove the insulation on the lower front corner of the machine and drain into a cup or container by removing the black rubber plug at the bottom of the plastic tank.

The error can occur from excessive foaming.
After a bit more perserverance we managed to solve this problem ourselves. The machine had been drained of all possible water but on moving the machine to try and find the float device ourselves a further load of water ran out from underneath it. After this water had dislodged itself the machine started to run correctly.
The instruction manual defines E4 as "overfilled", a possible reason being too much inlet water. What helped with our machine - removed all dishes inside, then let the machine's pump run briefly to make sure as much water was drained from the system as possible. I then unplugged the device, placed a large towel on the floor around its base, and tilted the machine front-ward, until all water had run out. Lifted the machine back upright, plugged it in, switched on - and voilà! it's working as I speak.
Eurotech Dishwashers are notorious for the E1 and E4 faults. The problem is with the solenoid they use for filling the dishwasher. The problem is something called the "Venturi Effect". The Venturi effect is the reduction in fluid pressure that results when a fluid flows through a constricted section of pipe. The fluid velocity must increase through the constriction to satisfy the equation of continuity. while its pressure must decrease due to conservation of energy. The gain in kinetic energy is balanced by a drop in pressure or a pressure gradient force. I know, a lot of big words. To put it simply, the orifice within the solenoid is smaller than the inlets and outlets. Even more simply put: Not enough water is getting into the dishwasher. It's a design flaw and I'm not certain there are many ways around it. Just make certain that you have a good water feed to the dishwasher (no kinks, valve on completley etc.). One thing you may try is reducing the feed pressure (i.e. slightly turn down the water valve supply to the dishwasher). Doing so may diminish the venturi effect by equalizing inlet pressure. It's worth a try.
