Question about Refrigerators
Look closly at bottom of door there is a metal door stop, screwed to bottom of door, that prevents door from opein too far. Well when the door is forced open too far the door stopbends sdn then actually prevents door from closing all the way, you see it hitting the hinge(if indeed this is your issue), to repair it either simply bend it back staight witha pair of pliers, or what i sometimes do is switch the refrig and freezer door stops. They are identical, but only require the use of one side, (1 stop will do either door just depends on position as to how it operates)

Hello ttd1977 - Often when one door is closed and the other opens, it is because either the hinges are damaged or the refrigerator has a poor door sealed. Trying checking and see if the door seal is bad; place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and the door. Now close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocking by anything stopping it from closing. If the gasket is not sealing properly, it may possibly near replacing. Since there are cost differences in parts it is always a good idea to have a certified technician properly diagnosis your appliance. Thanks for allowing me to help you.
