If ** one k**ws, go to Logitech, and find the installation manual, which will show you the appropriate diagram. You are in warranty, so you should be able to speak with support if you can't find your manual.

What you need is a splitter and not an adapter. Forget the colors yellow, green, black. They are not relevant. The business end of those colors occur inside the box. Dell manufactured these "bass ackwards". You need a 3-way headphone splitter and that will solve your problem. I bought a RadioShack Headphone Splitter Cable model 42-2458. Hope this helps. Just plug into headphone outlet

hai, Here is the solution. when u cut the PCB from both sides u will find 4 cables i.e. green blue yellow and a copper wire coming from woofer and 3 cables white, red, yellow coming from audio lead. connect the green cable to copper cable and yellow to blue coming from woofer. Now take white cable coming from audio jack.connect this with yellow blue cables of woofer. Now attach Red and Yellow, connect these to green and copper cables of woofer and enjoy. if problem persist then make experiment to make interchanges with red white yellow coming from audio lead to the 2 sections of woofer side. woofer connections green/copper and yellow/blue remain same.

I've hooked up all the speakers. NOTE: I didn't read the instructions, as they are lost and I recently moved. I'm sure everything is right, I've read on here about this problem. I have the pea-green,...

Typically:

Lime green (pea-green) is front speakers.
Orange is for center speakers and sub-woofer.
Black is for rear speakers.

Pink is for microphone in.
Blue is for line in (MIDI or similar).

Using my Acer CPU, I successfully plug in the speakers to the green receptacle. Works find. But should I be able to connect a second set of speakers in another room, run in the wire and plug into one of...

the green plug is for sound OUTPUT (to speakers with an amplifier), the blue is for sound pre amp INPUT (like a MP3 player or a any other device like an old 4 track casset WALKMAN player) the pink one is for a MICROPHONE INPUT, the black is for a surround system OUTPUT, and the yellow is for a digital OUTPUT all for a surround 5.1 system, so you have to look closer you will notice some difference in the icons stamp in the back, green has a sound wave symbol with an arrow going outwards the pink one has a sound wave symbol with a MIC symbol, the blue has a sound wave symbol with an arrow going inwards, the black and the yellow has a sound wave symbol with a digital symbol

conclusion... you can use the green OUTPUT to feed to one amplifier, if you want to feed music to multiple amplifiers you need a SOUND MIXER with at least two outputs, you can buy a chap sound mixer for about 20$, go to your local electronic store and EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT TO DO and they will sell you exactly what you need...

Hope this helps!

Good luck!

what do you mean by your rear sound jack? is that the 3 jacks that you use to connect to your computer ? it depend on if you have 5.1 system or 2.1 system but normally you can plug it in this order : green , yellow , black . The pink normally is for Mic port but if you don't have it then insteed 1 of those 3 colors you replace it with the pink. And again you have to have a software on your computer which is usually come with your computer when you buy it. You'll have to manually configue those port in the software on your computer to get it to work. Good luck and keep me updated.

Wiring internal board of labtec computer speakers

The shielded wires are for ground, so they get connected together. Plug the wire into the PC and run some music. Then touch each wire to the others. You only have a couple of combinations to try...red-to-green and white-to-yellow, or red-to-yellow and white-to-green, . You can do this while the PC is one and music playing until you get sound thru the speakers. There virtually no current running thru the wires and you can't hurt the PC by doing this.
If the speakers use an external power supply, have it plugged in and working when trying these connection options.
