I HAVE A HITACHI 50V710 TV IT HAS YELLOW SHADE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTURE WE ARE NOT SMOKERS. TRIED ADJUSTING COLORS.BUT NO CHANGE. REPLACED LAMP AND WAS TOLD IT MIGHT BE LITE ENGINE PROBLEM. JERRY SA TX

Please take the tv to a repair shop or call and or take the tv to the place of purchase for warranty repairs or if no warranty exits contact the shop and ask about repairing the tv.

You could also buy a new tv.


The problem is clearly a hard one and pressing a few buttons wont solve it.

    DO NOT let the dealer tell you that you will have to pay for the part. Hitachi knows about this problem all to well and they are replacing the part for free.. Again, you only pay the install. Please deal only with the customer relations department at the number I listed above. If you deal with their regular customer service people, they will have you chasing your tell. Hitachi customer relations will take care of you! Good Luck!

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

Hitachi 42HDF52 powers on then shutsdown with a yellow light


Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Hitachi 43fdx01b lost remote and somehow audio is change to second output and I need to change it to audio how do I do this without the remote.


well it may be a silly solution " i don't know this T.V but if i were you i would played in everysingle button in that screen ... it won't get worst i wish you could solve it or you maybe buy a universal remote i tried it and it works it signal is week but it is better thatn nothing

How do I make my Zenith TV clear up?


i'm sorry sir but your tv set needs to be repaired, it is not apart of normal operation for the set to exhibit such behavior, furthermore this seems to be a hardware issue and I do NOT advise YOU to disassemble the unit, try and adjust the color via the menu to help but the set needs repair beyond your scope, leave it on if you can, it wont hurt much

My tv has gone some orange colour


Try unplugging your tv and anything connected to it - you might want to take a picture first so you have a reference. I would also unplug everything connected to the tv: cable, stereo, etc. Wait a few minutes, then plug in and re-connect everything.

You can also go into your TV's setup menu and adjust the picture settings - try restoring the default settings first.

TV just flashes different colors


You have entered a diagnostic colour test. With the TV powered on, hold the 'Menu' & 'Enter' together, then press the power button. Problem resolved
