Hello Janice, its either your PC is to slow or the connection on the web is also slow or the camera driver is not yet setup properly. there a CD DRIVER you need to install for that webcam, try also the PC screen resolution.

Good news and Bad news
Good news... Yes it works with Windows 7
Bad news... It needs the windows 7 drivers, and you cant download them from hp, you have to order and pay for a driver CD

First thing would be to install the drivers, and then you can use any webcam software to use it. Might be that HP installs some extra software for specific settings.

As an update to the posted problem, I have got the camera software loaded by opening the disc contents and then opening folders and clicking on individual setup arrows. This after the auto setup for the disc, repeatedly failed to work with the XP home SP3.

As this is only a partial success and not the way it all should have installed, I am now talking to HP about the issue.
Yes the camera now works on my XP operated laptop, but not all the arcsoft and HP add ons work yet. Watch this space.

ITS EASY I JUST FIXED IT, JUST GO TO HP SITE. LOOK FOR DRIVERS AND TYPE IN EW192AA OR EW193AA AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. KEY IS READ THE DIRECTIONS, YOU MUST SAVE TO DEASK TOP FOR IT TO WORK
