Hello,

Try to clean your car's air filter. If doing that doesn't help, change your fuel filter. Something is choking the engine and its either your air filter or fuel filter. Also try changing spark plugs..

Low fuel pressure on mazda rx8 2008 model, car does not accelerate properly on gets full power after 6500 rpm

You will need to have the fuel pressure monitored under a load with a special tool and also drive it for a while and see if the check engine light comes on, if it does have the system scanned and diagnose the codes received.

My car is a Sonata 2004, 2 litre about 60,000 kilomtrs. It has started not accelerating properly. i mean when in second gear it's fine when i am trying to accelerate on moerway for example nd need to...

Your problem is difficult to diagnose in part because of limited info to go on. I have a couple of questions and some possible solutions. First of all, I'm making an assumption since you speak of second gear, that you have a manual transmission. Secondly, the spedo measures transmission output and translates to speed on your instrument panel. It sounds as if the tachometer is racing up rather than the spedo. The fact that it does good in a lower gear than a higher ratio indicates possibly that your clutch is slipping during acceleration. If you can clarify a few things perhaps I can be of more assistance with your problem. #1 Is it manual shift? #2 Is it possible that your tachometer is going up and not the speedometer?

Fuel-consumption

Drive slower and easier. about 1 or 2 BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT DON'T PASS ANYONE . When you accelerate accelerate nice and easy watch the tachometer try to keep it below 3000 rpm all the way up to your cruise speed nice and easy don't worry about the guy behind you . Brake easy if you are coming to a light take your foot off and coast and try to time the light so its green when you get there. then EASY EASY on the gas keep it under 3000 RPMS all the time you are accelerating.
No special oil no special spark plugs or fancy air filters just factory parts whren you tune up every 3 or 4 years and change your oil about every 3 or 4 years yes 3 or 4 years it wont hurt it a bit just remember to always check the oil and add if it gets 1/2 Qt low. change the fuel filter EVERY EVERY 15,000 MILES fuel injection professional pressure cleaning once a year Air filter when it is dirty, please dont believe all those gimicks out there I have a car we change the oil about every 4 years and it has 350,000 miles no engine work yet runs every day passes emsssions every year no repairs needed fuel filters once a year or 15,000 miles
