When draining the machine makes noise

If there is a back panel on the machine you can access it from there, if it has a enclosed back then you will have to lean the machine backwards against the wall to get underneath to access it. The pump has two wires attached to it make sure the power is off & lead removed from wall before you unplug them otherwise you get zapped. The drain pump is held into the pump casing/housing by three Phillips head screws. Undo the screws remove old pump and replace with new pump, make sure rubber seal is on the new pump before installing. You will need a torch & a Phillips head screw driver.

ERROR CODE OE IS COMING UP AND I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING TO CLEAN OUT THE FILTER AND PUMP AND IT STILL THROWS UP THAT CODE WHAT ELSE CAN IT BE?

Hi krysten24_42,

First check my tip for the correct and FULL explanation on how to clean the filter, it is very important to test the impeller, to make sure it is indeed turning freely (as described in the below tip):

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER

If still not draining, and still giving you the OE error, then you can do the following:
1) Turn the machine on, while active, unplug it from the wall, and wait 5 minutes. Plug it in again and test, if still not working:
2) You will have to open the washing machine from the back, access the drain motor, and remove it (Fitted with screws, un-screw them) Then attach direct power to the 2 points (One for live, one for neutral) - Does not matter which is which, as it is a alternating current. If it does not spin with power put on it, you need to replace it.

Kind Regards :-)

Does all the cycles but the last one does not empty with oe on the screen

Open the Drain Pump filter as described in your manual. Remove obstruction on Drain pump impeller. If it does not help, or no obstruction is found -replace the Drain Pump. Its very cheap to replace, so do not worry. The impeller magnet was most likely damaged by a small object or normal wear & tear, you could also check if the 2 wires connected to the pump is still making good contact.

Instruction on how to access the pump and remove/install it:
http://fixitnow.com/wp/2011/02/11/accessing-and-removing-the-drain-pump-in-an-lg-front-load-washer/

If you want to be sure, first remove it and attach power to its 2 pins.

Good Luck :-) - J.Q

I keep getting a oe code and it wont drain

That is actualy a DE (drain error) code. Open the access door at the lower left on front of the washer. Use the little hose to drain the remaining water out of the machine. Now, unscrew the big knob next to it and remove the attached filter. Clean out the filter and re-install. If the filter was clear, you will need a new pump motor.

Error code oe

That's not OE, that's DE = Drain Error. Open the access door at the lower left on front of the machine. Use the small hose to drain the remaining water out of the machine, then open the large knob which is attached to the filter. If there is nothing in the filter, you may have an object which made it past the filter and is blocking the pump impeller, or the impeller may have come off the pump motor shaft, which would require pump motor replacement.

Can't Open Attachments In Outlook Express

If you cannot open attachments while using the Outlook Express e-mail client, your security settings may be too high. When you try to open attachments, you may see the following message: “OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail.”

To check your e-mail security settings:

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Click on Tools in the menu, and scroll down to Options.
3. Click on the Security tab.
4. Make sure “Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus” is UNCHECKED.
5. Click on the Apply button. Click on OK.

You should now be able to open attachments.

Attachments to E-mail won't come up

Turn Off Attachment Blocking in Outlook Express 6.1 SP1 Introduction Many viruses are transmitted through files attached to e-mail messages. For this reason, blocking of attachments is now a standard feature of many e-mail programs, including Outlook Express 6.1 SP1. Attachment blocking has been available in Outlook Express for some time, but it is now turned on by default.
When using Outlook Express to read your e-mail, you may notice a yellow message stating: “OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail: filename(s).” Please note that the attachment is still included in the message, you simply cannot access it because of a security restriction that can be turned off. These instructions explain how to turn off this restriction.
Procedure
  1. In Outlook Express, select the Tools menu, and click Options.
  2. Select the Security tab, clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box, and click OK.

  3. You should now have access to all attachments in your e-mail messages. Remember, you should never open an attachment unless you are certain it does not contain a virus. It is recommended that you save the file first, and then open it from the saved location.

I keep getting amessage "OE removed access to the following attachments in your mail". How can I fix this wo my attachments go through? Thank You

f you cannot open attachments while using the Outlook Express e-mail client, your security settings may be too high.

Note: If you are using Outlook 2003 to read your mail, you may not be able to open attachments with extensions (.exe, .vbs , etc.) that the program considers unsafe. To get around this problem, ask the attachment’s sender to use a compression program, such as WinZip, that alters the file’s extension to something considered safer (.zip). More information about this feature can be found at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;829982 .
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.
