My Tablet pen lost pressure?!

I need help!
I have a windows vista xp computer. I have been using a bamboo fun tablet for about a year now. Somehow, suddenly, my pen just lost pressure. When I went on photoshop, the pen's pressure stopped working. It just comes out the size it was set to. I need help. I was going to update something to see if that works, but I'm afraid that I might break something. Please help!

it's driving me crazy! i have the same issue and since i draw a LOT, it sort of sucks that my only way of getting my artwork onto my computer is now, well...broken i guess.
the mouse works fine, but the pen is having issues with the size.
it stays at the size it was made to default at, but when i go in and try to adjust the issue in the options, it works just fine.
maybe it's a problem with photoshop?

Hello, I have the same problem, same type of computer and the Bamboo Fun Wacom Tablet.

The front side of my pen doesn't even work anymore. It won't move, it won't mark, nothing. Now I have to use the back side, but now I'm afraid I might break it. Does anyone have the answer?

SOURCE: Bamboo fun tablet pen not working

After having almost the same problem (I did not check to see if the eraser was working), I changed the nub (my bamboo came with a little bundle with tree of them. You can change it by bitting the tip to get it out and them inserting a new one.)

The thing is, it did not work at all at the time, but after the week end it came back...

Not much help...

Try replacing the nib. You should have three extras in your box.

SOURCE: Bamboo Fun won't work w/ provided software

Hello,

I had the same problem when I got my laptop (Vista OS). The solution is to update the new driver for your bamboo. They are out of date so you need to go here: http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=196 Updated @ Apr. 9, 2009

This update should allow Vista to find it.

SOURCE: Some tools in Corel Painter Essentials 4 not working with tablet

I've had this same problem when I first loaded Corel Painter Essentials 4.

Try opening Corel Painter and then going to: Edit > Preferences
Then there should be a box that says "General" click on that and when it gives you more options click on "Brush Tracking"
Now try drawing on the scratch pad with a typical stroke and it should adjust the settings to detect your tablet.

This worked for me, I hope this helps!

I am trying to get my CTL-460 Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet to work on my new computer, a Toshiba Satellite, which uses Windows 8. I have attempted to download the drivers multiple times, including from the

When loading the latest driver for it from Wacoms site, be sure to change the compatibility on the EXE file to "Windows 7". If that doesn't work, you will need to look at purchasing a newer model. The CTL-460 Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet was only compatible with XP and Windows 7. Newer Microsoft operating systems are not supported on that product from Wacom.

I would try loading a Linux operating system on a flash drive and see if it worked on that. Vista is unsafe to use on the internet, anyhow.

Is it possible to remove features from a tablet?

I have the bamboo fun pen also. I am currently running Windows Vista 64bit home and have the same problem. I fixed mine by going into the control options > Tablet PC Settings > Other > Go to Pen and Input Devices > Settings (Under Pen Options) Then I clicked at the top Where it states "Enable press and hold for Right-clicking". I disabled that and my pen works with no holding for the right click. I can make scratch marks all day! Hope this helps you too.

Bamboo Fun won't work w/ provided software

I think you need to select the right tool to use with the tablet, I like to use the tablet with the lasso tool. If you want to draw use Adobe Illustrator. If it works as a mouse I think you just need to learn how to use the software you are dealing with.

My tablet pen occasionally stops responding.

what you need to do is go into cmd prompt and type this: /configtab (you need to type it correctly, sometimes you may need all caps or no caps, it depends your software). get the 7 digit code that appears next to "confm" and go to your tablet settings and enter it into the confirmation input. and you are set to go!
