The baffle that opens to allow cooling into the refrigerator may be blocked, broken or mis wired. These units work by just cooling the freezer and then blowing some cold air into the refrigerator whenever the fridge thermostat calls for it. The fridge's thermostat is trying to cool the refrigerator but something is preventing the cool air from getting to the refrigeration part, that's why it's freezing up the freezer

4 yr old Top Mount Frigidaire freezer is not freezing

Even after you had unplugged and started if the fridge is not cooling well then the compressor is not having the right pressure for the heat exchange. The possible problem can be fault in the compressor or lack of gas in the system. check if the compressor motor speed is fine and pumping well, need to use a current test witth a clamp tester. If not check on the contacter relay, the capapcitor. If ok the gas pressure must be checked or refilled. I hope you can follow this out and try. Good day,

Whirlpool has water drip inside fridge

sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine

Refrigerator does not cool

the drain hose must be frozen, when it freezes it usally blocks the air ways to the fridge, let the fridge defrost for a day then when you put it on check for air flow in the fridge.you can speed it up with a hair dryer on low in the freezer

Frigidaire 7.5 cu.ft. Top Freezer the fridge part doesn't cool; freezer is fine.

It should be under warranty, retry he is probably right, run for 24hrs and it should work ok, if you ever defrost you should turn off for 24hrs and leave the door open. Regards Advisor
